Mr. Bill Richards - started in the arts at the age of 9 years old.
He first started taking banjo lessons and then moved on to guitar at age 11.
While in High School - Mr. Richards got straight A's in Art and while he was in the 10th Grade
his band got 2nd place in the Local Talent Contest.
Mr. Richards went to college where he enrolled in both art and music classes before joining the US Army in 1989.
While in the service, Mr. Richards was his Unit's artist during Operation Desert Storm
He had entered and won over 40 Blue Ribbons and 25 Red Ribbons from local County Fairs.
Best of Show in 2012 for a Pencil Portrait.
IN 2016 - Mr. Richards won Gold Medal in the Naitonal Veterans Creative Arts Festival
2017 - Awarded Veteran of Influence in Art and Music by Community Rebuilders
2018 - Gold medalist again for the National Veterans Creative Arts Festival
2019 - Founded the Veterans Creative Arts Program (CLICK ON THE LOGO to the left)
It is Mr. Richards hopes and desires to see any/all veterans to get involved in the Creative Arts
in a way to help combat Veteran Suicide.

 

Bill Richards has been a Pencil / Graphite Artist for over 30 years. He has done various work in the United States as well as abroad.
